Pulwama,January 19,2026- Pulwama district on Tuesday commenced the second phase of #VandeMataram celebrations with a mega inaugural event at Tral, led by Dr Basharat Qayoom, Deputy Commissioner Pulwama.
The inaugural programme witnessed the hoisting of a High-Mast National Flag, the unveiling of the Preamble Plaque, administration of the Viksit Bharat Pledge, and a vibrant Vande Mataram Concert, reflecting a strong spirit of patriotism, unity, and constitutional values.
Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Commissioner emphasized the significance of national symbols and collective participation in strengthening civic responsibility and national pride. The event saw enthusiastic participation from officials, students, and local residents, marking a renewed commitment to the ideals enshrined in the Constitution.
The second phase of the celebrations is aimed at deepening public engagement, promoting awareness of national values, and fostering a sense of shared responsibility toward nation-building across the district.
