A Mobile Veterinary Clinic is now operational here in Pulwama, Jammu & Kashmir, courtesy the Government of India and the Department of Animal Husbandry Kashmir. The helpline number is 1962. Free medicine is provided to our animals and the senior doctors do their duty. Earlier, this facility was not there. The mobile Veterinary clinic helps in resolving our local issues related to our animals. Because of snowfall and rain, the village lying 30 km from Pulwama saw difficulties as animals which were suffering could not get treated and animal loss were often reported, said a man speaking in favour of the mobile veterinary clinic in Jammu & Kashmir’s Pulwama region.
