On the occasion of Jyestha Purnima, a Pratham Pooja was organised on Tuesday at the holy cave shrine of Lord Shiva, marking the beginning of annual Amarnath Yatra 2022 pilgrimage. Jyestha Purnima is one of the most pious days in Hindu religion. Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board, Nitishwar Kumar, along with office bearers of Shri Amarnath Yatri Trust participated in the pooja. The pooja was performed amidst chanting of Vedic mantras to invoke the blessings of Shri Amarnath ji.
