PMAY-G beneficiaries in Kashmir happy they were sanctioned Rs 1.30 lakh to build their homes

In Jammu and Kashmir, Khursheed Ahmad Najar under PMAY-G scheme got a sanction of Rs 1.30 lakh to build his own home. I am very happy that with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s scheme and under the administration of the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, we constructed our home, said the PMAY-G beneficiary Khursheed. Kashmir has been ruled by so many parties before like National People’s Conference, PDP, Congress. I’m sorry we didn’t get home at their time. Today we are so happy and grateful. We were relieved when we built this house, said Khursheed. Another beneficiary Fayaz Ahmad Wani says that before this government, the governments that were there used to give houses to their own people. Not every poor got the benefit of the scheme. Under the LG government, The job is not getting stuck, it is running fine. Seniors in Kashmir said that the scheme has benefited a lot of homeless poor in Kashmir who were living their lives under the bare sky or coping in tin sheds. Houses were made with the help of the PMAY-G scheme, now they had rooms to stay in. We are thankful that people have benefited from it. We want to say to the government that schemes like this should always be working for the poor. There should be no delay so that the poor can live comfortably, said many people in Kashmir.
