Kashmir, May 27,2026-Large gatherings of devotees were seen at mosques and Eidgahs across Srinagar as people came together to offer special Eid prayers with religious fervour and devotion. The occasion reflected the spirit of unity, brotherhood, and compassion associated with Eid-ul-Adha.
Omar Abdullah and Farooq Abdullah extended greetings to the people on the festival and prayed for peace, prosperity, and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir.
Eid-ul-Adha, one of the most significant Islamic festivals, is celebrated with prayers, charity, and community gatherings. Markets and religious places across Kashmir witnessed festive enthusiasm as people marked the occasion with traditional celebrations.
Authorities had also made special arrangements in Srinagar to ensure smooth conduct of Eid prayers and public gatherings across the city.
