NRLM and government departments collaborate to celebrate Lohri festival in Poonch

POONCH, JANUARY 13: The Lohri festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Poonch, thanks to a collaborative effort by the National Rural Livelihoods Mission and several key government departments, including Forest, Horticulture, Floriculture, Agriculture, Rural Development, Sheep Husbandry, and Animal Husbandry. These departments set up vibrant stalls at Parade Park to showcase their initiatives and resources available to the community.

The event, organised under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal, was inaugurated by Assistant Commissioner Revenue , Qadeer Ul Rehman. Following the inauguration, the ACR toured the stalls, interacted with attendees, and extended warm wishes for the festival to the residents of Poonch.

This collaborative celebration not only highlighted the diverse government services but also brought the community together in a spirit of unity and festivity.
