Baltal, July 24, 2025-In a strong reflection of global faith and devotion, nine young foreign nationals—including seven women and two men—participated in the Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2025, trekking from the Baltal axis toward the sacred Amarnath Cave Shrine in the Himalayas of Jammu and Kashmir.
The group of international pilgrims hailed from six different countries, highlighting the wide-reaching spiritual significance of the annual Amarnath Yatra. The devotees include citizens of the United States, Canada, Germany, Britain, Australia, and Spain.
The foreign pilgrims who successfully began the arduous journey via Baltal include:

- Emily Sarah, female from Canada
- Anna Lena, female from Germany
- John Joseph, male from Australia
- Maria Isabel, female from Spain
- Laura Eve, female from United States

Local authorities and officials from the Shri Amarnath Shrine Board (SASB) extended a warm welcome to the foreign devotees and ensured they were fully supported with logistical, medical, and security arrangements throughout their spiritual expedition.
The Amarnath Yatra, one of Hinduism’s most sacred annual pilgrimages, attracts lakhs of devotees each year who journey to the 13,000-foot-high Amarnath Cave to pay homage to the naturally formed ice lingam of Lord Shiva.
The participation of foreign nationals continues to underscore the Yatra’s growing global recognition as a profound spiritual experience, transcending borders and cultures.
