Jammu, October 15,2025 : As part of the Swachhata Hi Seva 2025 campaign, the National Highways Authority of India PIU Jammu, RO Jammu team is organising a blood donation camp at the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway, PKG-14. The initiative aims to encourage citizens to contribute to the nationwide health and humanitarian drive by donating blood and saving lives.
The camp invites people to roll up their sleeves and become lifesavers, highlighting the importance of every drop of blood in saving lives and supporting medical needs across hospitals and healthcare centres. NHAI has emphasised the role of community participation and social responsibility in campaigns like Swachhata Hi Seva, which not only promote cleanliness but also extend to health and welfare initiatives.
Officials from NHAI Jammu PIU stated that the blood donation camp is part of a broader effort to engage employees, local residents, and travellers along the Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway in social welfare activities. Participants will receive guidance on safe blood donation practices, ensuring health and hygiene standards are maintained throughout the event.
The Swachhata Hi Seva campaign, launched by the Government of India, emphasises citizen participation in cleanliness drives, health initiatives, and social service activities. By organizing the blood donation camp, NHAI aims to strengthen public awareness about the significance of voluntary blood donation and inspire more people to participate in such life-saving efforts.
The NHAI team encourages everyone in and around Jammu and along the expressway corridor to join the camp, stressing that collective efforts can have a substantial impact on community health and well-being.
