At a meritorious students’ felicitation ceremony, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha congratulated all the student recipients and wished them a bright future. In his address, the LG said that it was a great time to be a student. After many decades, due to the current Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and his government, the nation’s present generation has got a unique education policy that goes out of the syllabus to create curiosity in children. The LG further said that the biggest power of children is their critical thinking and the only identity of children is their curiosity. And this critical thinking and curiosity can build a golden future for the nation. The education policy can give the talented youth of Jammu & Kashmir a new identity. He assured the education departments and students that in this learning journey whatever is needed for improvement, the administration is taking steps to facilitate those and that they are fully committed to it, said the LG.
