KashmirIn a continued effort to combat substance abuse and promote a drug-free society, the District Administration Rajouri organised a series of awareness camps under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan across various blocks of the district.

The campaign aims to educate youth, parents, and community leaders about the dangers of drug addiction and the importance of early intervention, rehabilitation, and community support. Various departments including Social Welfare, Education, Police, and Health Services collaborated to make the initiative more impactful at the grassroots level.

Experts and counsellors interacted with students and local residents, sharing insights on the psychological, social, and health impacts of substance abuse. Participants were encouraged to spread the message of a drug-free Rajouri and support those seeking recovery.

Deputy Commissioner Rajouri appreciated the collective efforts of the departments and urged local communities to remain vigilant and proactive in identifying and supporting individuals at risk.

The Nasha Mukt Abhiyan continues to be a key initiative in Jammu and Kashmir’s mission to empower youth, protect families, and strengthen communities through awareness and preventive action.
