Muslims Join Kashmiri Pandit Funeral in J&K, Showcasing Enduring Brotherhood

Muslims Join Kashmiri Pandit Funeral in J&K, Showcasing Enduring Brotherhood. There were 15-20 Hindu families earlier. Now some families live outside J&K, a few remain here, villagers in Pinglena, Pulwama district of Jammu & Kashmir pointed out. At the funeral, a large crowd had gathered. This is our brotherhood, said villagers in Pinglena, J&K. They participate in our weddings and festivals and we too participate in theirs. Those brothers who had to leave, we request them to come back to Pinglena to their homes and live with us together, for they are our brothers and we are their brothers too. The unusually large crowd is for a Kashmiri Pandit’s mother who expired last night and we have all gathered for the last rites. The love and brotherhood we have for Kashmiri Pandits since 90s stands till today, said Muslim brothers in Jammu & Kashmir. So we will be there for them always. This is a time of difficulty and we all are there for our Kashmiri brothers, said villagers in Pinglena, Jammu & Kashmir.
