Mission Youth: DC Kathua hands over keys of vehicles to 5 MUMKIN beneficiaries

KATHUA, DECEMBER 09: Deputy Commissioner, Kathua Rakesh Minhas today handed over keys of Mini Commercial vehicles to 5 beneficiaries of MUMKIN Scheme here at a brief ceremony held in the premises of DC Office complex.
On the occasion, Assistant Director, Employment & Counseling Centre, Kathua Naresh Kumar, representatives of Mahindra & Mahindra and Tata Motors besides beneficiaries of MUMKIN scheme were also present.
While speaking on the occasion, the DC said the objective of the launching Mission Youth initiative in Jammu and Kashmir was to provide opportunities to the youth to become self-reliant. He said the youth should come forward to avail this platform for becoming self-sufficient.
Assistant Director, Employment & Counseling Centre, Naresh Kumar informed that under the MUMKIN scheme a total of 236 beneficiaries have been provided Commercial vehicles in the district.
