Mission Shakti organises free medical camp

JAMMU, JULY 06: In a bid to provide quality healthcare services to the underprivileged, the Mission Shakti Social Welfare Department, Jammu, in association with Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Narayana Superspeciality Hospital, Katra, organized a free medical camp at Bahufort under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao (BBBP) program.
The camp, organized under the supervision of District Social Welfare Officer and Nodal Officer, Mission Shakti, Mamta Rajput, witnessed a team of specialist doctors, including Orthopedic, Child Specialist and Gynecologist, providing free medical checkups and consultations to the public.
The camp aimed to address the health-related issues of the people especially girls and women, residing in the slum areas and provide them with immediate medical services. Free blood sugar and blood pressure tests were conducted and medicines were also distributed among the beneficiaries.
The event was attended by officials from DMC Sankalp HEW, DCPU, CHL and other dignitaries.
