“Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally” reaches Kishtwar

KISHTWAR, MAY 18: The Mission Save Lives Road Safety Rally today reached District Kishtwar amid warm welcome by the district administration led by Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ghulam Rasool.
After a brief interaction with the Rally incharge and participants, the ADDC Ghulam Rasool flagged off the rally towards Srinagar.
During interaction it was apprised by the team head that the rally has been organised by the Kashmir Road Safety Foundation, which marks the first-ever landmark road safety initiative of its scale in Jammu & Kashmir, covering all 20 districts of the UT of J&K.
Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC emphasised the significance of such initiatives towards saving lives by raising awareness and promoting road safety measures across Jammu & Kashmir. He further appealed to the general Public to abide by the norms religiously in the interest of their own safety.
Other officers present on the occasion included Phulail Singh, Assistant Commissioner Development, Chandan Manhas, BDO Trigam and officials of the office of Deputy Commissioner.
