Srinagar, November 1,2025: The Meteorological Department has forecast dry and stable weather conditions across Jammu and Kashmir from November 1 to 3, bringing relief to residents after recent spells of rain and cloudy skies.
According to the MeT Centre Srinagar, there will be no significant weather activity during this period, with clear to partly cloudy skies expected across most districts of the Union Territory. The temperatures are likely to witness a slight dip during morning and evening hours due to calm winds and clear nights.
“Fair to mainly dry weather is expected in both Jammu and Kashmir divisions till November 3. There may be shallow fog in plains of Jammu region during early morning hours,” a MeT official said.
The department added that daytime temperatures are likely to remain above normal in Kashmir Valley, while night temperatures could drop further, especially in higher reaches and north Kashmir areas like Gulmarg, Kupwara, and Gurez.
The weather office has also urged farmers to take advantage of the fair weather window for harvesting and post-harvest operations.
Normal vehicular movement and air traffic are expected to continue uninterrupted across the region. The next weather update will be issued on November 4, the department said.
