Srinagar, October 27,2025: In a powerful symbol of peace and cultural revival, Bollywood’s legendary singer Sonu Nigam set the stage ablaze at the SKICC (Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre) in Srinagar, where more than 5,000 people gathered to celebrate the spirit of a New Kashmir.
From enthusiastic youth to excited Gen Z music lovers, the event witnessed a wave of joy, unity, and renewed confidence among Kashmiris. Sonu Nigam’s electrifying performance filled the air with melodies that echoed beyond music — symbolising hope, harmony, and the region’s journey toward progress and normalcy.
The concert, held on the banks of the serene Dal Lake, marked a defining moment for Kashmir’s evolving identity. Once known for unrest, the Valley is now making headlines for its vibrant cultural resurgence, tourism boom, and growing peace.
The administration’s efforts to promote tourism, art, and youth engagement have begun to yield results, with concerts, festivals, and local initiatives drawing massive participation.

“Kashmir is embracing peace with pride and hope. We are ready for a brighter tomorrow,” said a young attendee from Srinagar.
