RAMBAN, AUGUST 09, 2025 – A vibrant Mega Tiranga Rally was organized today in Banihal, Ramban district, as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign to commemorate India’s 79th Independence Day. The event, led by Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Banihal, Mohammad Naseeb Bajraan, aimed to foster patriotism and promote national unity.
The rally saw enthusiastic participation froxm students, teachers, and local residents, who filled the streets of Banihal with the tricolour and echoed national slogans. Starting from GMHSS Banihal, the procession wound through the main market, captivating onlookers and showcasing a powerful display of national pride.
Educational institutions, civil society members, and officials from various departments actively joined the event, amplifying its impact.SDM Bajraan emphasized the importance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, urging citizens to hoist the national flag at their homes from August 13 to 15 as a tribute to India’s independence journey.
He lauded the youth for their spirited participation, calling them the torchbearers of the nation’s future.The rally culminated with the singing of the national anthem, symbolizing a collective pledge to uphold freedom, unity, and integrity. The event, seamlessly coordinated by the local administration, police, educational institutions, and community members, reflected Banihal’s deep-rooted patriotic spirit.
