Kupwara, August 9, 2025 – In a vibrant display of patriotism and national unity, a massive Tiranga Rally was held in Teetwal, near the Line of Control (LoC) in Kupwara district, Jammu and Kashmir, as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav initiative. The rally featured a 1.5-kilometer-long National Flag, symbolizing the unbreakable spirit of India, carried by over 3,000 participants, including students, locals, officials, and activists.
The event, flagged off by Deputy Commissioner Kupwara Shrikant Balasaheb Suse and supported by Superintendent of Police Gh Jeelani Wani, saw enthusiastic participation from the District Administration, Indian Army, and local police. The Har Ghar Tiranga campaign, part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, encourages every Indian to hoist the Tricolour at their homes from August 2 to August 15, fostering a deeper connection with the National Flag.
