Bandipora, May 25,2026- A massive crowd gathered at SK Stadium in Bandipora ahead of the Mega Padyatra being led by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha under the Nasha Mukt Jammu Kashmir campaign. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, youth groups, civil society members, officials, and local residents united in the fight against drug abuse.
Participants assembled early at the venue carrying banners and placards promoting a drug-free society and spreading awareness about the harmful effects of substance abuse. The padyatra is aimed at encouraging youth to stay away from drugs and support the ongoing anti-drug movement across Jammu and Kashmir.
The atmosphere at SK Stadium reflected strong public support for the Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, with slogans and awareness messages highlighting the importance of collective action against the drug menace. Security arrangements and event preparations were also put in place ahead of the Lieutenant Governor’s arrival.
The anti-drug padyatra forms part of the broader campaign being carried out across the Union Territory to strengthen awareness, rehabilitation efforts, and community participation in building a Drug-Free Kashmir.
