The Amarnath Yatra drew over 500,000 pilgrims, a 12-year high, symbolizing unity. Kashmir’s valleys, from Gulmarg to Pahalgam, are attracting Bollywood filmmakers again, boosting the economy through new filming permits. Peaceful Lok Sabha and Assembly elections with high voter turnout highlight a democratic resurgence.Healthcare has advanced with new medical colleges, AIIMS, and Unani institutions, providing free treatment to over 8.5 million people under the PMJAY Sehat Scheme. Digital initiatives like PHGA and JKIT Vision are driving transparent governance, while JKRIS protects forests and creates jobs. Over 215,000 homeless families now have permanent homes, ensuring dignity for all.This journey of peace, unity, and prosperity, driven by infrastructure, employment, education, and healthcare improvements, has integrated Jammu and Kashmir into India’s mainstream.
