We have been travelling on this road for 20 years in Banihal, Jammu and Kashmir. Our vehicles were taking the brunt of the bad road conditions. We had to spend Rs 11,000 per month to repair our vehicles, said vehicle owners in Baihal. A stretch around 1300 metre was not done. The locals are thankful to the Panchayat for getting the macadamisation of the road done in a manner that is praiseworthy.
