Lt Gen Rajiv Ghai meets LG Manoj Sinha, reviews security scenario in Jammu & Kashmir

Srinagar, July 25, 2025 – Lieutenant General Rajiv Ghai, Deputy Chief of Army Staff (Strategy) and Director General Military Operations (DGMO), called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhavan, Srinagar, on Thursday to discuss the prevailing security scenario in the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir.

During the high-level meeting, key issues related to counter-terrorism operations, border security, and internal stability were reviewed. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to maintaining peace, safeguarding civilian life, and ensuring the secure environment needed for ongoing development initiatives in the region.

“The armed forces remain vigilant and fully committed to preserving the security and sovereignty of the region,” Lt Gen Ghai reportedly conveyed during the discussion.
