Long-awaited Kandiwara bridge coming up in the J&K village of Kokernag

The 195 Metres-long Kandiwara bridge coming up in Kokernag village in district Anantnag in Jammu & Kashmir will provide a lot of convenience to us residents, say locals. All the ‘bastis’ and the Bakarwal Gujjar communities will derive benefits as long stretches of roads and settlements will be united by the bridge. The residents observe that a lot of work is being taken up by the LG government of Shri Manoj Sinha. The bridge construction plan was a big task which has been taken up by this government. They notice that the supervisors keep standing to get the bridge work going. The residents of Kokernag have sent sweet boxes to the Lieutenant Governor as a way of saying thank you.
