Banihal, January 31,2026-In a significant boost to the region’s power infrastructure, a ₹3.65 crore electricity upgradation project has been launched in the Banihal–Gool area, aimed at strengthening the transmission and distribution networks. The project is designed to ensure reliable electricity supply even during peak demand periods and harsh weather conditions.
The newly implemented power upgrades include modernization of transformers, lines, and substations, which will improve the efficiency and stability of the electricity network across the region.
