Srinagar, November 10,2025: The much-awaited International Film Festival is set to bring world cinema to Srinagar’s iconic Tagore Hall, offering audiences a glimpse of global storytelling and creative excellence.
According to the organisers, over 100 entries from 20 countries were received for this edition of the festival, out of which 30 films from 14 nations have been shortlisted for screening. The selection includes a mix of feature films, documentaries, and short films, representing diverse cultures and cinematic traditions.
The festival aims to celebrate international cinema, promote cross-cultural dialogue, and provide a platform for young filmmakers from Jammu and Kashmir to connect with global creators.
Speaking about the event, the festival director said, “We are thrilled to host filmmakers and audiences from around the world in Srinagar. Tagore Hall has long been a symbol of art and culture in Kashmir, and this festival will further strengthen its legacy.”
The International Film Festival in Srinagar is expected to attract film enthusiasts, students, and professionals, making the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir a vibrant hub for cinematic exchange.
