JAMMU, NOVEMBER 30 – Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha chaired a crucial meeting at Raj Bhawan to review the arrangements for the upcoming Police Constable Written Examination in Jammu and Kashmir. The meeting was attended by key officials, including Chief Secretary Shri Atal Dulloo, Principal Secretary Home Shri Chandraker Bharti, ADGP Jammu Shri Anand Jain, IGP Kashmir Shri Vidhi Kumar Birdi, and other senior officers.
The Lieutenant Governor discussed the comprehensive logistics for the examination, which is scheduled for December 1, 2024. He directed all senior officials, including DIGs, DCs, SSPs, and Divisional Commissioners, to visit examination centres to ensure a smooth and transparent process. Emphasizing the importance of a fair and incident-free exam, he urged all stakeholders to maintain vigilance and support the seamless conduct of the process.
Officials briefed the Lieutenant Governor on the arrangements made by the J&K Service Selection Board for the recruitment of Police Constables (Armed/IRP/Executive/SDRF).
