Poonch , November 21,2025 : Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha arrived at Dak Bungalow, Poonch, to lay the foundation stone for a major rehabilitation project aimed at supporting families affected by Operation Sindoor and recent floods in the region.
The initiative marks a significant step toward ensuring secure housing, improved infrastructure, and long-term rehabilitation for the impacted families. Senior officials from the district administration, security agencies, and representatives of beneficiary families were present during the ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, the Lieutenant Governor reiterated the government’s commitment to safeguarding the welfare of affected communities and ensuring timely completion of rehabilitation works.
The project is expected to provide enhanced living facilities, stronger disaster-resilient structures, and holistic support to families who have faced displacement and hardship.
