LG: No Govt Cost, All 100% Funded Homes for Jammu’s Disaster-Hit Families Today is Chaturthi of Krishna Paksha of Paush month. And today, this holy day is known for the progress of the society. Today, a major change is going to begin in the lives of those families of Jammu district who have been victims of Operation Sindoor and the horrific natural disaster, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha. A big change is about to begin in the lives of those families who have lost a lot due to the natural disaster. First of all, I want to pay tribute to those who left us in this disaster. I would like to express my deepest condolences to their family. The compensation that was officially approved was distributed as quickly as possible, LG stated. The respected Home Minister of the Government of India, Shri Amit Shah ji himself came here and saw the devastation caused by the flood. And this assurance was given to the Jammu and Kashmir administration, not only the Jammu and Kashmir administration but the entire administration of India will provide full support. Not only people’s homes but also infrastructure has been damaged on a large scale in this flood. The administration has prepared reports one by one and sent them to the Government of India. And we all know that the Government of India will take up this work on priority basis, LG said. It costs approximately Rs 10 lakh or Rs 9 lakh 82 thousand to build a house. These houses will be built in various areas of Jammu district, costing approximately Rs. 37 crore. This entire expense is being borne by Swamiji’s organization, LG announced. No money is being spent by the Jammu and Kashmir administration in the construction of these houses. Free health checkup of families will also be done every year by HRDF India. In areas where there is connectivity, the organisation will also provide internet facility to all the houses being built so that their children can study in remote areas. Since these houses are being built in a rural district, LG requested Swamiji that there would be many people who would like to increase their income by keeping cattle, so Swamiji approved that the boundary of the pastoral sector would also be constructed. There has been a massive change in the development of Jammu district due to the Honorable Prime Minister Shri Modi ji, LG said. He expressed his gratitude for what Swamiji and this organization have done for Jammu and Kashmir, and congratulated all the beneficiaries and he said he will pray to Mata Vaishno Devi that Jammu and Kashmir may choose new dimensions of development day by day.
