Jammu, September 09,2025: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha today visited the Mega Health Camp organised by the Health Department Jammu and Kashmir for the flood-affected families at Rajeev Colony, Jammu.
During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor interacted with the affected families and patiently listened to their concerns. He assured them that both the Government of India and the J&K administration are fully committed to the welfare and rehabilitation of people impacted by the recent floods in Jammu and Kashmir.
The Lieutenant Governor reiterated the administration’s resolve to provide timely healthcare services, relief measures, and infrastructural support to the affected population.
Shri Manoj Sinha was accompanied by senior officials including Shri Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu; Shri Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP Jammu; Dr. Syed Abid Rasheed Shah, Secretary Health and Medical Education; Dr. Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner Jammu; Shri Devansh Yadav, Municipal Commissioner Jammu, along with other officers of the district administration and health department.
The Mega Health Camp in Jammu was aimed at ensuring free medical check-ups, distribution of essential medicines, and awareness on preventive healthcare for families residing in flood-affected areas. The initiative is part of a larger effort to extend immediate medical relief and rehabilitation support across the Union Territory.
