Pulwama, 26 September 2025:As part of the ongoing #SewaParv2025, the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama urged citizens to actively participate in various government welfare schemes aimed at inclusive growth and community empowerment.
During a special event, the DC distributed motorised tricycles among specially-abled beneficiaries and handed over sanction letters under different social welfare initiatives. The outreach programme sought to ensure that the benefits of welfare measures reach the grassroots level, uplifting marginalised sections of society.
The DC emphasised that the government is committed to social security, empowerment of the underprivileged, and citizen-centric governance. He appealed to the public to avail themselves of these schemes, which are designed to provide self-reliance, dignity, and better livelihood opportunities.
The distribution drive was held in a spirit of service under Sewa Parv 2025, reinforcing the administration’s resolve to build a welfare-oriented and inclusive Pulwama.
