LG Manoj Sinha Unveils Statue of Mahatma Gandhi & Installs Charkha in J&K on Gandhi Jayanti

The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir Shri Manoj Sinha unveiled a statue of Mahatma Gandhi and installed charkha on Gandhi Jayanti in Jammu & Kashmir. An initiative of J&K Khadi & Village Industries Board in the Union Territory. Paying tributes to Mahatma Gandhi, LG said the ideals of Bapu are for all humanity. On the occasion, LG said that the Pujya Bapu always believed that the message of Charkha’s circumference is much broader than its tangible circumference.
