Srinagar , October 17,2025- Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha is leaving for Kalmykia , Russia where he will lead the Indian delegation to bring back the holy relics of Lord Buddha after a week long exposition India- Russia cultural and spiritual ties.
Expressing his gratitude , LG Manoj Sinha thanked the honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi for the sacred opportunity to represent the nation in this significant spiritual mission . ॐ नमो बुद्धाय! he said , invoking the message of peace and compassion taught by Lord Buddha.
The exposition of the Buddha relics in Kalmykia witnessed enthusiastic participation from Buddhist followers and devotees from various countries . The event underscored India timeless role as the cradle of Buddhism and its commitment to promoting peace, harmony and mutual understanding across the world.
The return of the relics marks another milestone in strengthening Indo- Russian cultural and Spiritual relations , reaffirming the universal message of Lord Buddhas teachings
