Jammu, November 24, 2025: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Monday visited the Jammu & Kashmir Police’s Commando Training Centre (CTC) at Sunjwan, Jammu, to review the advanced training programmes and operational preparedness of police personnel.
During the visit, the Lieutenant Governor assessed various specialized training modules, including counter-terror operations, tactical drills, and modern combat techniques being imparted to trainees. He was briefed on the centre’s ongoing initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and preparedness in handling emerging security challenges.
The Lieutenant Governor also interacted with J&K Police personnel undergoing training and encouraged them to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, discipline, and service.
SSP Training and Special Operations delivered a detailed presentation on current training components and proposed infrastructure expansion and upgradation to further strengthen the centre’s capabilities.
LG Manoj Sinha was accompanied by senior officials including Shri Nalin Prabhat, Director General of Police; Shri S.J.M. Gillani, Special Director General (Coordination), PHQ J&K; Shri Chandraker Bharti, Principal Secretary, Home Department; Shri M.K. Sinha, ADGP Headquarters & Director SSG; Shri Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP Jammu; Shri Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu; and other senior officers.
