Kashmir,January 18,2026-Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday underscored the transformative power of education, stating that it expands the horizon of opportunities and opens doors to a brighter future, and called for collective efforts to ensure that no girl is denied the gift of education.
The Lieutenant Governor made these remarks while reviewing the ongoing development works of the Pachokhar Digital Library, a facility dedicated to Nari Shakti, at Zamania in Ghazipur district. He emphasised that every possible support must be extended to girls for their higher education and skill development, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
LG Manoj Sinha said the Pachokhar Digital Library initiative will play a significant role in strengthening the spirit of ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, by actively promoting girls’ education, enhancing digital access to learning resources, and empowering rural communities.
He noted that such initiatives are vital for bridging the digital divide, encouraging academic excellence among girls, and fostering self-reliance and social empowerment. The Lieutenant Governor also reviewed the progress of infrastructure development and directed officials to ensure timely completion and maximum community outreach.
The initiative is expected to become a hub of knowledge and digital learning, inspiring young girls to pursue higher studies and contributing to inclusive and sustainable development in the region.
