Kashmir,December 9,2025– Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today inaugurated the 6th edition of the Kashmiri Pandit Premier League (KPPL), emphasising the role of sports in transforming individuals, strengthening communities, and fostering national identity and unity.
Addressing players, youth, and spectators, the LG said that “the power of sports can transform individuals, society and the nation.” He urged young people to believe in themselves, promote shared values, and stay focused and resilient in the face of challenges.

Calling upon the youth to “dream big and define clear goals,” LG Sinha encouraged them to pursue their aspirations with hard work, dedication, and perseverance. He highlighted that sports nurture discipline, teamwork, and a sense of responsibility—qualities essential for nation-building.
The Kashmiri Pandit Premier League, now in its sixth edition, has become an important platform for youth engagement, cultural bonding, and community empowerment. The event continues to strengthen ties within the Kashmiri Pandit community while promoting harmony and sportsmanship across the region.
