Srinagar, October 24,2025: LG Manoj Sinha inaugurated Inaugural Session of NEP Conclave 2025, organised by the Higher Education Department, Jammu and Kashmir, on the topic of Union Territory’s pioneering initiative of uniform implementation of NEP 2020 for all higher education institutions.
LG Manoj Sinha asserted that Jammu and Kashmir is one of the pioneering states of the nation to implement the NEP policy in its entirety, with a vision to create an inclusive, innovative, and impactful academic environment that is future-ready. The implementation of the policy aims at empowering the UT students so they can realiSe their full potential and contribute meaningfully to the country’s growth.
During the conclave, LG Sinha stated, “Our aspiration is to equip students to fulfill the vision of Viksit Bharat@2047, wherein they become knowledgeable, skilled, and value-driven proud contributors to India’s growth narrative.” Teachers, policymakers, and academic heads were present at the conclave to share ideas on ways to reshape higher education according to NEP goals.
The conclave placed stress on digital learning initiatives, skill upgradation, promotion of research, and overall education, reinforcing J&K’s dedication towards establishing a strong and new education infrastructure.
