Ganderbal, June 5, 2026- Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Thursday inaugurated the much-awaited Yatri Bhawan at the revered Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple in Tulmulla, Ganderbal.
The newly inaugurated facility is expected to significantly enhance the pilgrimage experience for devotees visiting the temple by providing safe, hygienic, and comfortable accommodation facilities. The Yatri Bhawan has been developed to cater to the growing number of pilgrims who visit the shrine annually, particularly during the auspicious Kheer Bhawani Mela.
Speaking on the occasion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha said that the Yatri Bhawan would substantially improve facilities for devotees and ensure a more convenient and comfortable stay during their visit to the holy shrine.

The Lieutenant Governor reiterated the administration’s commitment to strengthening infrastructure and amenities at major religious and pilgrimage sites across Jammu and Kashmir. He said efforts are being made to preserve the rich spiritual and cultural heritage of the region while providing world-class facilities to pilgrims.
The inauguration of the Yatri Bhawan marks another important step in improving pilgrimage infrastructure at the Mata Kheer Bhawani Temple, one of the most revered shrines for the Kashmiri Pandit community and devotees from across the country.
