Rajouri, April 18,2026-The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, inaugurated a Memorial, Museum, and Library in Rajouri to honor the enduring legacy of martyr Additional Deputy Commissioner Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa.
Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa attained martyrdom during unprovoked shelling by Pakistan amid Operation Sindoor.
Paying tribute, the Lieutenant Governor recalled Dr. Thapa’s selfless service and unwavering dedication to public welfare. He stated,“This memorial will continue to inspire generations to come.”
The event also featured a documentary highlighting the life and contributions of Dr. Thapa.
Family members of Dr. Raj Kumar Thapa, along with senior officials from the security forces, police, and civil administration, were present on the occasion.
