Jammu, 23 January 2026: Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha attended the Silver Jubilee celebrations of the Shri Baba Kashi Vishwanath Seva Samiti in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, commemorating 25 years of the organization’s selfless service and spiritual dedication.
In his address, the Lieutenant Governor praised the Samiti’s legacy, emphasizing that true faith manifests through selfless service. “Real devotion is found in compassion,” he said, highlighting the vital role of spiritual and humanitarian values in building a strong and resilient society.
Shri Sinha noted that the Seva Samiti has been instrumental in serving pilgrims at the Chandanwari Base Camp during the annual Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra, demonstrating how faith can be translated into meaningful action. “For 25 years, Shri Baba Kashi Vishwanath Seva Samiti has embodied the principle that true faith manifests through selfless service,” the LG added.
He further stressed that spiritual consciousness, when combined with compassion and empathy, strengthens social harmony and nurtures value-driven citizens. “Serving the devotees of Baba Barfani amidst high altitudes, harsh weather, and physical hardships is not merely organizational work; it is a spiritual discipline,” Shri Sinha said.
The Lieutenant Governor appreciated the volunteers’ dedication at Chandanwari, noting that their efforts dismantle barriers and forge connections rooted in human compassion. Each act of selfless service, he remarked, reinforces the spiritual foundation of the nation.
Shri Sinha also congratulated Shri Dilip Singh, President of the Seva Samiti, along with all office bearers and volunteers, for making service a way of life. “Let us commit ourselves to weaving service into the fabric of our daily lives, translating our spiritual beliefs into tangible actions, and working together to create a society built on the foundations of kindness, mutual support, and peaceful coexistence,” he said.
