LG Manoj Sinha Hands Over 50 Job Letters to Families of Terror Victims in J&K First of all, I pay tribute to those who became victims of terror. Right now, appointment letters have been given to 50 people in front of you, said the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha handing over appointment letters to the ‘Next of Kin of Terror Victims’. Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha on Sunday handed over appointment letters to 27 Next of Kins (NoKs) of victims of terrorism, at Lok Bhavan Srinagar. Appointment letters were also handed over to 22 NoKs of deceased government employees, under Jammu & Kashmir Rehabilitation Assistance Scheme-2022 and SRO 43. There are many people whose family members were made victims of violence by terrorists. There are some people who have been waiting for a long time. Today, their wait is over. I also heartily congratulate all the ladies and gentlemen who have received their appointment letters today, LG said. I think today is not an ordinary day in the calendar for the administration of Jammu and Kashmir. With the help of the administration, the work of providing employment to the families of those who died during terror attacks and those deceased while in service as government employees has been done and a new ray of hope has been lit in their lives, said the Lieutenant Governor of J&K, Shri Manoj Sinha. The Lieutenant Governor added that it is not merely an administrative exercise of signing papers, shuffling files, or filling posts but a profound commitment to justice. My aim throughout this process is to ensure that no terror-affected family slipped into the cracks of neglect, fading from public and official gaze is denied justice. I view these appointment letters as true justice- and today’s event stands as its living testament, said LG Manoj Sinha LG has also repeatedly affirmed that lands or homes forcibly seized from terror-affected families will be liberated and returned, and cases yet to undergo investigation will receive impartial, transparent probes. Lieutenant Governor said that under the guidance of Hon’ble PM Shri Narendra Modi, important initiatives were taken over the past five to six years with a singular, overarching goal- to forge a Jammu Kashmir undefined by the pains of its past, but brimming with self-confidence In August 2020, I had set this vision-to develop a Jammu Kashmir that measures its strength by the heights of its dreams, and to build a system rooted in social justice, dignity, and equal opportunity, said J&K LG Manoj Sinha. The Lieutenant Governor called upon people to preserve the unity and foil the efforts of separatist elements.
