Kashmir,January 4,2026-Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Tuesday flagged off a group of youth from south Kashmir for an educational exposure tour aimed at broadening their horizons, promoting national integration, and enhancing learning beyond classrooms.
Addressing the participants, the Lieutenant Governor said such exposure tours play a vital role in empowering young minds by providing firsthand experience of the country’s cultural diversity, development initiatives, and governance systems. He encouraged the youth to make the most of the opportunity, learn from new environments, and return with fresh ideas and positive experiences.
The exposure tour has been organised as part of ongoing youth engagement and development initiatives of the Jammu and Kashmir administration. During the tour, participants will visit important educational, cultural, and historical sites, interact with students and institutions, and gain insights into innovation, entrepreneurship, and nation-building efforts.
Officials said the initiative aims to nurture confidence, leadership skills, and a sense of responsibility among the youth, while steering them towards constructive and progressive paths. Parents and local representatives welcomed the initiative, terming it a positive step towards youth empowerment and social transformation in the region.
The Jammu and Kashmir administration continues to focus on inclusive development by creating platforms that enable youth to explore opportunities, enhance skills, and contribute meaningfully to society.
