Srinagar, December 6,2025: Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha, addressed misleading social media reports regarding the JKPSC examination scheduled for December 7, 2025.
The LG’s office clarified that Lok Bhavan received the file on December 2, 2025, which was exclusively related to age relaxation. The file was returned the same day with a query on whether it would be logistically feasible to conduct the exam on December 7 while incorporating changes in eligibility criteria. No response was received within four days.
LG Sinha expressed sympathy for aspirants while stressing that the JKPSC exam advertisement was published on August 22, 2025, and the official exam notification was released on November 6, 2025, confirming the schedule for December 7.
He urged candidates to rely on official J&K Public Service Commission notifications and avoid misinformation circulating on social media.
