Jammu, January 30,2026: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the Beating Retreat Ceremony–2026 at MA Stadium, Jammu, marking the formal conclusion of Republic Day celebrations in the Union Territory. The event witnessed the participation of defence personnel, police officials, and a large number of citizens.
During the ceremony, LG Manoj Sinha appreciated the dedication of the armed forces and security agencies in maintaining peace and harmony in Jammu and Kashmir. He highlighted their role in safeguarding national unity and inspiring the youth towards patriotic values.
The ceremony featured mesmerizing performances by military and police bands, synchronized drills, and the traditional retreat of the national flag, reflecting India’s military heritage and disciplined traditions.
