LG Manoj Sinha at Pathology Conference: Empower Pathology to Save Lives Faster As a common citizen, I feel that all of you play the most important role in the diagnosis and treatment of the patient, the Lieutenant Governor of Jammu & Kashmir, Shri Manoj Sinha said delivering keynote address at Annual Conference on Pathology. And in this annual conference, renowned pathologists from across the country and eminent personalities from the medical community have come. I heartily welcome all of them to Jammu and Kashmir. I believe that the efforts made at this conference will definitely help patients across the country by making the advancements in patient care and its tools accessible to all pathologists and by discussing these advancements in detail, to ascertain a single query and how the time lag between diagnosis and treatment can be reduced. I hope it has been designed in such a way that all health professionals associated with the pathology field can improve their skills, LG spoke Personally, I can also call it the most sensitive bridge of life because this bridge will ensure that pathologists can help doctors understand the nature of the disease so that patients can get the right treatment in less time. How can we help ensure diagnostic accuracy by further empowering the field of pathology through cutting edge advancements and developing a standard protocol for future treatment of patients through multi-disciplinary research? Therefore, if this conference can help in reducing the time between diagnosis and treatment in rural areas, then people in both the public sector and private sector will have to come forward for this. I believe that in the last few years, due to the respected Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi ji, there has been a huge transformation in the health sector also. Lab diagnosis results are being stored and shared securely through digital cards under Ayushman Bharat Health Account. Nowadays, it is also being seen as a digital health id helping patients keep their prescriptions, lab reports and other health cards in one place. Now a system has been made to send the digital reports provided by the lab directly to the patients’ personal health card record application. And this has definitely increased the speed and accuracy of treatment, LG said.
