Kashmir, February 20,2026-: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha asserted that any attempts to derail the progress and development trajectory of Jammu and Kashmir will not succeed, reaffirming the administration’s commitment to peace, prosperity, and inclusive growth in the Union Territory.
Addressing a public gathering, the Lieutenant Governor said that transformative reforms, infrastructure expansion, and people-centric governance have laid a strong foundation for sustained development. He emphasized that the government remains resolute in safeguarding the gains achieved over the past few years.
LG Sinha highlighted significant improvements in sectors such as infrastructure, tourism, industry, education, and employment generation. He noted that record tourist footfall, enhanced connectivity projects, and growing investment interest reflect renewed confidence in the region.
Stressing the importance of unity and collective responsibility, he urged citizens to actively participate in nation-building efforts and contribute towards strengthening peace and harmony. He also reiterated that strict action would be taken against elements attempting to disrupt normalcy.
The Lieutenant Governor further underscored that transparent governance, grassroots empowerment, and welfare-oriented schemes are central to accelerating growth in Jammu and Kashmir.
Reaffirming his administration’s resolve, LG Sinha said the path of development is irreversible and that Jammu and Kashmir will continue to move forward with resilience and determination.
