Jammu, January 19,2026 – In a major step toward sustainable urban development, the Jammu Municipal Corporation is developing a unique ‘Waste to Water Park’ at Bhagwati Nagar under the Smart City initiative. The project is designed to combine environmental sustainability, tourism promotion, and public recreation in one integrated space.
The proposed park will feature replicas of world-famous monuments, including the Eiffel Tower, Colosseum, White House, and Gateway of India, offering visitors a distinctive cultural and visual experience. In addition, the park will include a botanical garden and a water body, aimed at enhancing green cover and creating a serene environment for residents.
Officials said the Waste to Water Park will utilize treated wastewater, showcasing innovative water recycling and waste management practices in line with Smart City objectives. The initiative is expected to boost tourism, promote eco-friendly urban spaces, and provide recreation and wellness facilities for the people of Jammu.
Once completed, the park is likely to emerge as a major urban attraction, reinforcing Jammu’s identity as a smart, sustainable, and liveable city.
