Jammu, March 3,2026- Ayushi Sudan, District Collector of Samba district, presented her views at the National Governance Conference on Holistic Development of Districts – Transforming Governance for Viksit Bharat held in Jammu.
During her address, she highlighted the model of transformative governance implemented in Kupwara district, outlining key initiatives aimed at inclusive growth and sustainable development.
Ayushi Sudan emphasized efforts to enhance employment opportunities, strengthen capacity building programs, and promote gender sensitisation across administrative frameworks. She also underlined improvements in grievance redressal mechanisms designed to ensure responsive and citizen-centric governance.
Infrastructure development projects, robust flood protection mechanisms, and youth engagement initiatives were cited as critical components driving holistic progress in Kupwara. She noted that coordinated planning and community participation have been instrumental in accelerating developmental outcomes in the district.
The conference brought together policymakers and administrators to deliberate on innovative governance practices aligned with the vision of Viksit Bharat, focusing on district-level transformation as the cornerstone of national development.
