A Multi-Purpose Indoor Sports Hall entrusted to the youth to create the best future for them. And if I say it in the words of ghazal then… The development works that have been launched will definitely prove to be helpful in improving the quality of life of Kupwara people and accelerating the progress of the district. I believe, said the Lt Governor. If I say that the administration has set new records of success in Kupwara with the cooperation of all of you, then it will not be an exaggeration. The truth is that new paths of development have been established in the district. In 2020-21 around 120 projects got completed. In 2021-22 it was 1,365 projects and in 2022-23 around 2,444 projects were completed. Currently, work is going on at a fast pace on twenty major infrastructure projects. And the total cost of those projects is Rs 3,144 crores. I want to assure you that they should also be completed within the time limit. Every effort will be made to complete them. The way Jammu and Kashmir has changed within four years, not only the people of Jammu and Kashmir, but also the people of other states are surprised to see the way J&K has changed within four years. People could not imagine a border district of Jammu and Kashmir and facing mountain-like challenges joining the mainstream of economy. People of Kupwara can hoist the flag of success to new heights. In three years the countrymen saw the impossible become possible. Today there are many sectors where the name of Jammu and Kashmir is coming at the top in the ranking of progress, LG stated.
