Srinagar, November 15,2025: After a brief pause following the Pahalgam terror attack, tourism in Kashmir is slowly bouncing back, with travellers now urging others to visit the Valley—especially to witness its breathtaking autumn beauty.
Tourists who explored Kashmir this summer are calling the autumn season an equally magical experience, highlighting the golden charm of Nishat Garden, where the iconic Chinar trees paint the landscape in rich shades of red, orange, and gold. Many visitors are sharing visuals and personal experiences online, encouraging others to return and experience the Valley’s seasonal transformation.
Tourism officials confirm that with improved security measures and a renewed sense of normalcy, Kashmir tourism is resuming steadily, welcoming travellers to destinations like Srinagar, Pahalgam, Gulmarg, Nishat, and Mughal Gardens. Hoteliers and tour operators report a gradual rise in inquiries as confidence among travellers returns.
Local stakeholders believe that autumn, known as “Harud”, remains one of the most photogenic times to explore Kashmir, offering crisp weather, serene gardens, calm lakes, and unmatched scenic beauty. The tourism department is also promoting autumn travel to help revive the sector after the temporary slowdown.
With tourists returning and the Valley draped in its signature autumn colors, Kashmir is once again ready to offer visitors an unforgettable and peaceful travel experience.
