Kashmir to Kanyakumari on Electric Vehicle

Jammu and Kashmir CM Omar Abdullah wished the participants of the second season of the Kashmir to Kanyakumari (K2K) Electric Vehicle (EV) drive a safe and successful journey. “This drive is a testament to the remarkable advancements in vehicle technology, the development of charging infrastructure, and the rapid growth of India’s EV ecosystem” The Chief Minister expressed confidence in the team’s ambition to surpass their previous record. This year, they aim to complete the journey from Kashmir to Kanyakumari in a remarkable 80 hours, driving the Tata Curvv EV. The vehicle is equipped with next-generation Gen 2 motor technology, a powerful 55kWh battery, and benefits from India’s rapidly expanding EV infrastructure, setting the stage for a new benchmark in long-distance electric travel.
